Basic Education dept in UP goes hi-tech, Yogi inaugurates online system

Lucknow, June 13 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday inaugurated the inter-state transfer process in Basic Education department by clicking the mouse of a computer, declaring that all the transfer process should be carried out by June 30 and by the first week of July, students should get books and uniform.
The announcement was made during a function, organised to make transfer policy in Basic Education department transparent. He also asked the officials to carry out transfers in a transparent manner and any complaint about expecting bribe, would be sternly dealt with.
'The officers should ensure that the transfer process should complete by June 30 and no shifting should be carried out after this cut-off date. All the state-run schools should get books, uniforms, shoes and bags by first week of July, so that the same could be disbursed among the students within the stipulated time.
