Following a recent, drunken brawl inside the Bamboo bar here, general public, including women from the locality, with the support of NGOs yesterday, organised a spontaneous dharna in front of the bar, demanding the administration to completely shut it down. “The protest yielded immediate results as the district administration has now suspended the licence of the bar soon after the protest,” Mr Zubair Ahmed, a member of Humane Touch NGO, told UNI today.Please log in to get detailed story.Tags: #Bar Licence suspended after massive flash protest in South Andaman
