Chandigarh, Apr 22 (UNI) Congress Lok Sabha candidate from Chandigarh and former Union Minister Pawan Kumar Bansal has declared that he will file his nomination papers on April 26.
He also announced that he will release his poll manifesto soon.
Addressing a gathering at Congress Bhawan in Sector 35 on Monday, where BJP leader and two time former Deputy Mayor Vijay Singh Rana of Burail, rejoined the Congress. Rana, was formally inducted into the party fold by Bansal and state Congress President Pardeep Chhabra amid chanting of mantras and blowing of the conch. Another leader Meherban also held the Congress hand on the occasion.
