Banking associations to join nationwide strike on Thursday

New Delhi, Nov 25 (UNI) Three major banking sector employee associations - All India Bank Employees Association (AIBEA), All India Bank Officers Association (AIBOA) and Bank Employees Federation of India (BEFI) will observe a one-day all-India strike on November 26.
The banking associations have taken this step in solidarity with the central trade unions which would protest on Thursday against what they call the government's 'anti-labour' policies and privatisation bids.
The banking associations strike will however not affect digital transactions and users would be able to conduct transactions through NetBanking or Mobile Banking
