Bangladesh's Jamaat Ameer says India's so-called friends have occupied more Hindu assets than anyone else

Chittagong, Jan 22 (UNI) Syed Abdullah Mohammad Taher, a central leader of Jamaat-e-Islami, has accused those he termed "friends of India" of occupying Hindu-owned properties in Bangladesh.
Speaking at an election rally in Cumilla on Saturday, Taher pointed to a report in India's Anandabazar Patrika which he claimed detailed a set of conditions agreed upon by a rival political leader and New Delhi.
These alleged terms included the rehabilitation of figures linked to the former government, a requirement for Indian oversight on arms procurement, and the suppression of Islamist parties within Bangladesh.
