Bangladesh reports 1508 new COVID-19 cases, 21 deaths

Dhaka, Oct 1 (UNI) With the detection of 1508 new COVID-19 cases, the total tally in the country surged to 3,64,987 on Thursday.
The death toll also mounted to 5,272 after 21 more patients succumbed to the virus, the Directorate General of Health Services said in a statement.
The statement said 11,420 samples were tested in the past day. With this, the number of total sample tests reached 19,59,075.
