Dhaka, Oct 23 (UNI) External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj said on Monday Bangladesh gets priority among all of India's neighbours and bilateral ties are moving forward at a fast pace. "India is following a policy of neighbourhood first and among the neighbours Bangladesh is foremost," she said while opening the new chancery complex of the Indian High Commission in the Bangladesh capital. "The relations between the two countries have gone beyond strategic partnership," she was quoted as saying by Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha (BSS) news agency. The new chancery complex was constructed on a five-acre of land in Dhaka's Baridhara diplomatic zone. The Indian external affairs minister also inaugurated 15 development projects worth about $8.7 million funded by India. On Sunday, she held the 4th Joint Consultative Commission meeting with her Bangladesh counterpart AH Mahmood Ali and reviewed the entire gamut of bilateral relations. There are still some issues between India and Bangladesh, Ms Swaraj has said earlier and assured that both the countries are trying to "resolve them with honesty.” She left here for New Delhi this afternoon wrapping up her official visit.
