Bangladesh apex trade body steps forward for facing COVID-19

Dhaka, Apr 2 (UNI) The Federation of Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI), the apex body of businessmen, has stepped forward for facing corona disaster in the country.
FBCCI has started providing 10,000 personal protective equipment (PPE), 20,000 N95 masks and other emergency products, including testing kits and digital thermometers, to hospitals and other essential service workers to help fight coronavirus.
Officials from Holy Family Red Crescent Medical College Hospital, Sir Salimullah Medical College Mitford Hospital, Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College and Hospital received the PPE and masks at FBCCI Icon Tower in Motijheel area on Thursday, said a statement.
