A release issued by the Department of Information & Publicity said that the District Magistrate in the order stated that with the Election Commission having announced the election to the state Assembly of Goa on February 4, the entry of Mr Muthalik and any of his associates or members has been barred until the election process gets over. Till the completion of electoral process, Mr Muthalik or any of his associates are prohibited from entering the state of Goa, as the same could lead to serious law and order problem.
