Bali demands CBI inquiry into Himachal scams, asks Shanta Kumar to apprise PM

Kangra, May 29 (UNI) Former Himachal Pradesh Transport Minister and senior Congress leader GS Bali on Friday demanded CBI inquiry into different Scams of this hill state including recent health department scam and the appointment scam of the Central University of Himachal Pradesh.
Stating this while addressing a press conference here, Bali said that senior-most BJP leader and former chief minister Shanta Kumar expressing his concern had circulated a letter in the media regarding the recent health department scam where a Director Health services were arrested and State BJP Chief had to step down on moral grounds and suggested Shanta Kumar take up this matter directly with the Prime Minister instead of circulating in the media.
He alleged that big fishes were involved in the health department scam.
Bali also alleged that a scam of appointments was there in the CUHP where people with a particular ideology suiting the present Central Government have been appointed and those not tuning with that ideology were not appointed was a serious matter.
He alleged that he had got the documentary evidence to prove all this and demanded CBI inquiry in both the scams in the state. He also alleged that the departmental procedures for the appointments have been strongly violated.
The Congress leader said that well-educated people have been ignored violating the norms was unfortunate and his party will take up this matter on political and legal forums.
Bali said that with such appointments the educational system will have to face serious consequences.
He alleged that there was mismanagement by the health department in dealing with Corona cases. He also alleged that big health infrastructures have been erected without proper service to common people.
He demanded that the army and paramilitary persons who visit their homes when on leave should be dealt with humanitarian touch and allowed to visit their home immediately after the Corona test is completed.
