Hyderabad,Sep 23 (UNI) The Balapur Ganesh temple laddu was fetched in Rs.16.60 lakhs in an auction conducted at Balapur here on Sunday.
The customary auction, an interesting feature of the Ganesh utsav, held every year before the Balapur Ganesh is taken, in a huge procession to Hussainsagar lake, for immersion.
The successful bidder was Mr.T.Srinivas Gupta, a resident of Balapur.
