Hyderabad, Jan 12 (UNI) The much awaited Nandamuri Balakrishna’s movie Gautampiputra Satakarni (GPSK) hit the screens worldwide today. The historical film that chronicles the life of a ruler of the Satavahana Empire has been released in more than 100 theatres in different places including Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. THe film has also been released in the United States of America. The early morning show at a theatre in Kukatpally in the city was watched by Directors Krish and Rajamouli and Tollywood actor Balakrishna, who is also a TDP MLA from Anantapur district of Andhra Pradesh. Fans raised slogans when Balakrishna came to theatre to watch movie. These fans also celebrated the release of Gautamiputra Satakarni by bursting crackers in front of the theatres. The movie was made in 79 days. Shriya is in the female lead in the movie. Bollywood actress Hema Malini has played a special role in Gautamiputra Satakarni.
