Entertainment » OtherPosted at: Jul 22 2016 9:41PM Bail petition of jailed IAS officer Jitendra Gupta rejectedPatna, Jul 22 (UNI) A local court today rejected regular bail petitionof an IAS officer Jitendra Gupta, suspended on charges of receiving bribe from a truck driver to release his vehicle when he was SDO of Mohania in Kaimur district.Special Vigilance Judge Raghvendra Kumar Singh rejected the bail petition of Mr Gupta after perusal of the case diary and hearing arguments of his counsel and that of the prosecution. Mr Gupta was arrested on July 13 from his official residenceat Mohania following recovery of bribe amount of Rs 80,000 from his driver during the raid conducted by sleuths of Bihar StateVigilance Bureau.
