Badrika Ashram to give scholarship to brilliant students, monthly pension to women

Solan, Nov 28 (UNI) Underlining the significance of women empowerment, Shri Badrika Ashram Trust on Thursday announced to give a monthly pension to women and scholarship to girl students of local villages at Shalamu village in Rajgarh sub division of Sirmour district.
The Asharm also announced construction of two public toilets at Doodhan-Katoh and Kotla-Barog village besides carrying out renovation work of building of Government Primary school Doodhan-Katoh. Ashram head Om Swami, a MBA from Australia, also donated computers to local government school and announced deployment of a teacher to teach the students about computer education and provided sewing machines to needy women of the area.
Focusing to promote brotherhood and peace amongst the mankind and extend assistance to needy and poor of the society, the Asharm would further initiate needed steps to educate women folk concerning their rights, culture and traditions of Indian society and also generate more self employment opportunities.

Accident claims youth, injures 18

Sehore (MP), Jan 17 (UNI) One person died on the spot and 18 sustained injuries when a pickup vehicle overturned after ramming a motorcycle on the Ashta-Shujalpur road late Monday, police said.
The injured have been admitted at a hospital here. The deceased motorcyclist was identified as Amar (27) from Indore district’s Chauhan Khedi village.
