B'desh on alert after Myanmar deploys troops at Rakhine border

Dhaka, Oct 8 (UNI) Border Guard Bangladesh on Wednesday said that it was on alert after Myanmar deployed troops in Rakhine border.
BGB spokesman, Lieutenant Colonel Fayzur Rahman, at a briefing at the Peelkhana headquarters in Dhaka, said that they had intensified water patrolling and surveillance along the border.
He said their forces were kept deployed at the border and if there was any instruction, they would carry out accordingly.
