Ayodhya verdict: Security tightened in national capital

New Delhi, Nov 8 (UNI) As the Supreme Court is scheduled to announce the verdict in the Ayodhya case on Saturday, security was stepped up in the national capital on Friday, in view of avoiding any situation that could affect the law and order situation.
According to sources, police has put in place tight security arrangements, to prevent any untoward situation.
Meanwhile, Chief Justice (CJI) Ranjan Gogoi on Friday met the Uttar Pradesh Chief Secretary and the state Director General of Police (DGP) and took stock of the law and order situation in Ayodhya and other parts of the state.
