New Delhi, Sep 16 (UNI) Muslim side on Monday told the Supreme Court five-judge Constitution bench, headed by Chief Justice of India Ranjan Gogoi, that the Ramjanmabhoomi-Babri Masjid case has to be taken very seriously in view of the dimensions and public faith involved.
"If it is idol, this case could have been resolved much more easily. But as this case involves Janmabhoomi, then it means all hands should be off the place including that of this court," Dr Rajeev Dhavan, senior lawyer appearing for the Muslim side, told the five-judge Constitution bench.
'The case is very, very sensitive, and we are hopeful that this court would definitely solve the case with ease. People who have faith are waiting anxiously,' Dr Dhavan submitted to the Apex Court.
