New Delhi, Sep 6 (UNI) Hearing of the Ram Janmabhoomi-Babri Masjid demolition case could not take place on Friday before the Supreme Court's five-judge Constitution bench.
The apex court is hearing a batch of petitions challenging the 2010 Allahabad High Court trifurcation of the 2.77 acres disputed site at Ayodhya.
The CJI Court was hearing many PILs today.
Chief Justice of India Ranjan Gogoi today heard many petitions, including that of a RAW officer to waive off the fine imposed on him, and many other cases.
Yesterday was the 20th day of the hearing in the sensitive case.
Also part of the Constitution bench were: Justices S Arvind Bobde, Ashok Bhushan, D Y Chandrachud and S Abdul Nazeer.
Since August 6, the apex court is hearing the case on a day-to-day basis, after the failure of the mediation process to resolve the dispute.
Hindu side has completed their arguments and submissions before the apex court. At present, the Muslim side is submitting its pleadings.
