Aurobindo pharma Q2FY25 reports consolidated net profit of Rs 817 crore

Hyderabad, Nov 9 (UNI) Aurobindo Pharma, an integrated global pharmaceutical company, reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 817 crore for the quarter that ended September 30, 2024, up 8.6 percent from Rs 752 crore a year ago.
Consolidated Revenue from Operations during the quarter increased by 8 percent Y-o-Y to Rs 7,796 crore with growth across the businesses, Hyderabad-based pharma company said in a release here on Saturday.
In Q2FY24, the company’s revenues stood at Rs 7,219 crore
Operational Performance (Consolidated), the company said that its revenues from US formulations (excluding Puerto Rico) increased by 4.3 percent YoY to Rs 3,530 crore (USD 421 million) while from Europe formulations increased by 19 percent YoY to Rs 2,105 crore (EUR 229 million) and growth Markets revenue up by 44 percent YoY to Rs 812 crores (USD 97 million).
The Pharma Company spent Rs 410 crore, 5.3 percent on revenues on Research & Development (R&D including depreciation).
Commenting on the Company’s performance, Aurobindo Vice-Chairman and Managing Director K. Nithyananda Reddy, said: "We are pleased with the continued growth in revenues across our key business areas this quarter, reflecting the resilience of our diversified portfolio. While profitability saw a slight dip, primarily due to the transient nature of certain business activities, our underlying performance remains strong. With a solid foundation and ongoing operational improvements, we are confident of maintaining our growth trajectory and achieving our strategic objectives for the year."
The Company develops, manufactures, and commercializes a wide range of generic pharmaceuticals, branded specialty pharmaceuticals, and active pharmaceutical ingredients globally in over 150 countries.
The company has 29 manufacturing and packaging facilities that are approved by leading regulatory agencies including USFDA, UK MHRA, EDQM, Japan PMDA, WHO, Health Canada, South Africa MCC, and Brazil ANVISA.

Singareni launches free accidental insurance scheme to its employees & contract workers

Adani Kutch Copper inks deal with caravel for Australian project

Mumbai, Nov 7 (UNI) Adani Group's Kutch Copper Ltd has officially announced that it has signed a non-binding memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Australia's Caravel Minerals Ltd to collaborate on the latter's copper project in Western Australia. According to the deal, Adani-owned Kutch Copper will have the first rights to participate at the project-level or as direct equity investments during the MoU term.
