Aurm to set up tech-enabled 35k secure deposit lockers in gated communities by 2026 end

Hyderabad, Oct 8 (UNI) Bengaluru based Aurm intends to install 35,000 secure and most advanced automated deposit lockers at premium communities located in three cities -- Bangalore, Hyderabad and Vizag by next year end, aiming to grab the increased demand for secure storage due to limited bank lockers.
The company plans to expand rapidly across three cities by 2026, targeting 20,000 safe deposit facilties in 80 residential societies in Bengalore; 10,000 lockers in 50 premium communities in Hyderabad (Telangana) while 5,000 lockers in 20 gated communities Vizag (Andhra Pradesh), said Vijay Arisetty, Founder and CEO, Aurm in a press conference here on Tuesday evening.
Aurm vaults are equipped with military grade strong rooms with state-of-the-art surveillance and intrusion-proof technologies, he said. "We are designing and developing the high-security lockers at our facility in Bengaluru," he added.
"We are providing security lockers in three categories – 8 ltrs , 20 ltrs and 32 ltrs, he said the charge will be depand on the liters minimum Rs 8,000 to maximum Rs 25,000 per year," he said.
Without disclosing the exact investments for the facility, he said "Our facility capacity was 100 high-tech vaults per month and each vault set up at gated communited consisting of 200-250 lockers and each vault cost would be around between Rs 2 to 2.5 crores".
This is India's first 24x7 safe deposit locker facility, backed by military-grade security and comprehensive insurance, he said. UNI KNR SSP
