Aurangabad to enforce restraining order on covid regulations till Mar 31, 2021

Aurangabad, Mar 3 (UNI) The restraining order regarding COVID-19 regulations in the district will be enforced till March 31, 2021 as per the provisions of Disaster Management Act 2005 and Section 144 (1) (3) of the Code of Criminal Procedure 1973.
In a statement Tuesday night, District Collector in-charge made this announcement for the district excluding the jurisdiction of Commissioner of Police, Aurangabad City.
In the notification, as per Section 2 (1) of the Infectious Diseases Act, the Municipal Commissioner has been declared as the competent authority to control Covid-19 and take necessary measures to prevent its spread.
