Aurangabad girl's startup makes traditional jaggery modern

Aurangabad (Maharashtra), Jan 19 (UNI) A startup by a 23-year-old girl Preeti Shinde changed the way people eat traditional jaggery.
The innovation by GudWorld - Gudness naturally, a brand by Panchaganga Farm Solutions Pvt Ltd, aspires to transform people’s sweetener consumption patterns from chemically bleached white sugar to their purest organic jaggery. For the first time GudWorld has introduced cubes of 5 and 10 grams jaggery that has made it easy to access and handle. In addition, the jaggery based instant tea, coffee in around 15 flavors are launched today in the Aurangabad district of Maharashtra. The modern look of jaggery is 100 percent natural and organic, Preeti claims.
Addressing a press conference here on Tuesday Preeti Shinde, Managing Director of GudWorld-Gudness Naturally said that, she belongs to a farmer's family. Her father runs a traditional jaggery-making plant known as 'Gurhal' for 40 years on her farms. This was the reason she was attracted to this business.
