Attack on teachers in Bangladesh tantamount to attack on education: UNICEF

Dhaka, July 6 (UNI) The United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) on Wednesday expressed deep concern over the spate of attacks on teachers in Bangladesh.
Condemning the incidents, the UN organisation said that attacking teachers meant attacking education. "If we fail to protect the teachers from violence, children will suffer in the end.
Sheldon Yate, UNICEF Representative in Bangladesh, expressed concern in a statement sent to the media.
