Mumbai, Dec 4 (UNI) Centurion Mayank Agarwal hinted at adopting "attack is the best policy" to counter spinner Ajaz Patel, who became the third in cricket history after Jim Laker and Anil Kumble, to bag 10 wickets in an innings of Mumbai Test at Wankhede stadium here on Saturday.
"This innings was all about grit and determination. I have not changed much, just tried to stay side on, but it is more mental than technical. For my batting, if I don't attack I will get stuck, so if I do not put Ajaz Patel under the pump, he will keep bowling in good areas," he told the broadcasters at stumps on Day 2.
Agarwal cracked 150, which was studded with 17 boundaries and 4 sixes, in the first innings and then remained unbeaten 38 in the second innings at stumps on Day 2, after India were 69 for no loss, with a lead of 332 runs over the Kiwis.
