Bhopal, Sep 23 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said on Thursday that the state government would hand over 90 per cent of the land for the Atal Progress-Way to the National Highways Authority of India by December.
“Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Jairam Gadkari has approved inclusion of the Narmada Expressway in the Bharatmala project. Besides, 15 projects involving an expenditure of approximately Rs 844 crore have been earmarked for rapid implementation owing to minimal land acquisition required. Four fresh ventures – at a projected expense of Rs 909 cr – have been recommended for Gwalior, Bhopal and Sehore. Proposals worth about Rs 4,200 cr were forwarded to the Centre and – of them – plans amounting to roughly Rs 1,500 cr have been approved,” Mr Chouhan conveyed via social media.
