Kabul, Jul 13 (UNI) At least six Afghan police personnel were killed in the northern Kunduz province, when Taliban millitants attacked police checkpoints, declared government officials on Monday.
1TV, a privately owned Television channel, said that the attack took place on Sunday at around 9.00 p.m. local time at the Imam Sahib district. Seven other police officers were reported to be injured said the broadcaster.
The news report claimed that the Taliban also suffered casualties in the clash, though the exact number casualties cannot be ascertained.
