Association urges administration to file caveat petition in SC

Puducherry,May 27(UNI): Pondicherry State Parents and Students Welfare Association today urged the administration to file a caveat petition in the Supreme Court in connection with the National Eligibility and Entrance Test(NEET).
The association president Balasubramanian, in a letter to the Chairman of the Centralised Admission Committee(Centac) said here that at a time when the Centac is expected to issue application forms for MBBS admission from May 30, Anandrai and a few students organisations had moved the Apex Court, seeking a stay on the Ordinance issued by the president.
Presently, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Andhra Governments proposed to file caveat petitions in the Supreme Court and Puducherry administration should also follow the suit to ensure that admission for MBBS course through the Centac was in no way affected.
