ASSOCHAM, GCCI to organise half-day event on MSME to celebrate World Entrepreneur Day on Aug 21

Panaji, Aug 19 (UNI) ASSOCHAM in association with Goa Chamber of Commerce and Industries (GCCI) will celebrate World Entrepreneur Day by organising a half-day event on Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) on August 21, 2019.

Addressing a press conference in the city, Manguirish Pai Raikar, Chairman, MSME Assocham National Council, said the aim of the event was to highlight MSME as the growth engine of the national by empowering MSME through financial literacy and create awareness on opportunities available for economic development of the state.

All major banks from the state would be sanctioning loans and educating the prospecting entrepreneurs on various financial schemes available.

The event would feature talks on importance of financial discipline and knowledge of various banking products and its impact in promoting entrepreneurship.

On the sidelines of the main event, various banks and other financial institutions would display their relevant schemes and interact with prospective entrepreneurs through specially designated stalls.
