New Delhi, Mar 19 (UNI) Enforcement Directorate (ED) has attached property worth Rs 2.76 crore of Bhoor Singh Rajpurohit and others in Barmer cruid oil theft case under Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA), an official release said here Tuesday.
The attached assets include immovable property like agricultural land measuring around 232 Bigha valued at Rs 1,79,17,016 and residential and commercial properties valued at Rs 97,19,774 situated at Barmer and Jodhpur pertaining to Bhoor Singh and others.
The central financial probe agency move under PMLA, comes after the registration of four FIR and consequently charge sheet filed by the Rajasthan Police against and others in under section 413, 420 and 120-B of the IPC and in stolen property and cheating case.
