Assam schools, colleges to reopen from Nov 2

Guwahati, Oct 17 (UNI) Regular classes from class 6 up to undergraduate level in Assam will resume from November 2 next with attendance being on voluntary basis, state Health and Education Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma informed here today.
The classes will have staggered timings and all COVID 19 health and safety protocols will have to be followed, he added.
Addressing a press conference here, Dr Sarma said, “Detailed SOP for re-opening of schools and colleges has been issued and all educational institutions must follow these.”
