IDKohima, Dec 3 (UNI) The Assam Rifles has claimed to have captured a cadre of the banned NSCN (K) with an ‘identity card’ that shows the bearer to be an employee of the office of the District Rural Development Agency in Zunheboto district. A press release issued by PRO of the Inspector General of Assam Rifles (IGAR, North) stated that the ‘3 (Naga Hills) Battalion (of) Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (North) conducted an operation based on specific information in the general area of Phulbari Chowk in Kohima along with a police representative yesterday.’ It informed that during the said operation an NSCN (K) cadre, a 39-year old, was captured and a ‘challan’ (demand note) for Rs. 10,000 and an identity card issued by the authority of the District Rural Development Agency at Zunheboto were recovered.
