Entertainment » OtherPosted at: Sep 9 2016 5:18PM Assam Rifles nabs NNC cadres on operations in NagalandKohima, Sep 9 (UNI) The personnel of Assam Rifles have conducted five operations in and around Dimapur town from August 29 to September 3 and arrested ten cadres of the Federal Government of Nagaland (FGN), including over ground workers, along with arms and other items and documents. A release of Inspector General of Assam Rifles (North) today informed that the 32 Assam Rifles conducted four successive operations between August 28 and September 3 in Dimapur leading to apprehension of high ranked cadres of underground outfit the Federal Government of Nagaland (FGN of the Naga National Council (Non-Accordist), over ground workers of NNC (non-accordist) and armed peddlers. Two point 22 pistols, cash and incriminating documents were recovered in the operations. The first operation was launched in Ghorapati general area of Dimapur on August 28 on information regarding extortion in the area, wherein 32 Assam Rifles apprehended two individuals with slips of FGN and NNC (non-accordist).
