Assam Rifles nab NDFB cadres in Nagaland

Kohima Sep 14 (UNI) The personnel of Assam Rifles in Nagaland apprehended three cadres of the National Democratic Front of Bodoland (Songbijit ) in the state on Tuesday last.

According to a release issued by the PRO of the Inspector General of Assam Rifles (North) Maj. Vincent Patton on Friday, based on information regarding movement of National Democratic Front of Bodoland (NDFB) cadres from Mon to Dimapur via Tuli-Amguri, a Mobile Vehicle Check Post was established by a party from Company Operating Base Tuli on September 10 last.
During spot check a Bolero was intercepted on September 11 in which the three cadres of the Assam -based banned faction-NDFB (S) were apprehended.
The apprehended were handed over to Tuli Police Station under Mokokchung district for further investigation, the release informed.
