Entertainment » OtherPosted at: Sep 15 2016 7:11PM Assam Rifles foils IED attack by NSCN(K) in Nagaland; 2 OGW heldKohima, Sep 15 (UNI) The troops of Assam Rifles has foiled another attack on its troops by NSCN (K), when the troops arrested two over ground workers of NSCN (K), both residents of Myanmar and able to recover one Improvised Explosive Device (IED) weighing 4 kg along the Indo-Myanmar border in Mon district yesterday. According to a release of the Inspector General of Assam Rifles (North) today informed in a statement that the 33 Assam Rifles under the aegis of Headquarter 7 Sector Assam Rifles apprehended two over ground worker (OGW) of NSCN (K), who were identified as Phongsa Wangsa and Leiwang Wangsa both residents of Myanmar along with improvised explosive device weighing 4 kg, during routine patrolling of Lungwa village bordering Myanmar in Mon district on 14 September 2016.
