Assam police seize 40,000 Phensedyl bottles

Guwahati, Nov 29 (UNI) Assam police seized 40,000 bottles of Phensedyl in Karimganj district.
"Based on reliable inputs, a vehicle laden with 240 cartons containing 40,000 bottles of Phensedyl was intercepted at the Churaibari check post by Karimganj police.
Two persons from a neighbouring state were apprehended with the vehicle," Assam chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said on X ( formally Twitter).
