Assam governor pays tribute to Netaji

Guwahati, Jan 23 (UNI) Assam Governor Prof. Jagdish Mukhi led the State in paying rich tributes to Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose on the occasion of 122nd birthday of the leader at a function held at Netaji Chowk in Guwahati today.
The Governor while paying rich floral tributes to the statue of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose said, “In the history of independence struggle, the name of Netaji will always be remembered with highest degree of reverence for his immense contributions. He is a leader personified with unparallel courage and charisma. Netaji’s sacrifice for the freedom of the country was colossal.”
Recalling his valiant leadership, the Governor said Netaji who led the Azad Hind Fauj through his inspiring quotation ‘Give me blood, and I shall give you freedom’ arouses the sense of patriotism in all.
