Assam: COVID-19 figure rises in Guwahati, state tally reaches 9434

Guwahati, Jul 2 (UNI) The COVID 19 tally in Assam continued to rise, with main city Guwahati accounting for most number of cases.
Altogether 479 new cases were detected in the state today, state Health Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma informed late in the night.
Out of these, 238 were from Guwahati, which has been on a 14 days total lockdown since June 28 midnight to check spread of COVID 19.

Itanagar, Mar 28 (UNI) Senior BJP leader and Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu, and four other candidates of the Saffron party are 'set’ to be declared elected unopposed as none of their opponents had filed nominations against them in the five Legislative Assembly Constituencies till Wednesday (March 27), the last date of filing nominations for the April 19 polls.
