Assam: Citizens living in digital darkness as Internet ban continues; ATM service hit

Guwahati, Dec 14 (UNI) After two days of agitation which was marked by arson and violence against Citizenship Amendment Bill (CAB) which now has become an act, life is limping back to normalcy in Assam but people of the state are still living in digital darkness as the ban on internet continues which has severely affected the ATM and online digital services.
With curfew being relaxed today for several hours in capital Guwahati and tea town Dibrugarh, people queued up near ATM for withdrawal of cash but many had to return home empty-handed.
