Assam BJP accuses Congress of spreading misinformation about COVID 19

Guwahati, Jul 9 (UNI) Assam state BJP today accused opposition Congress and other organizations in the state of spreading misinformation about the Coronavirus pandemic making the situation worse.
In a strongly worded statement, Mr Rupam Goswami, Chief Spokesperson of the party in the state said Congress and many organisations in a time when the state is passing through a difficult time is indulging in various misinformation campaign on Coronavirus which has made the situation much more critical.
Mr Goswami said that the people of the state are strictly maintaining the lockdown rules which are the most important deterrent in fighting the disease till the time vaccine becomes available.
