Asit Tripathy joins as new Chief Secretary of Odisha

Bhubaneswar, Aug 19 (UNI) Mr Asit Tripathy, IAS officer of 1986 batch today joined as the Chief Secretary of Odisha.
He succeeded Mr Aditya Prasad Padhi who joined as the State Election Commissioner today.
After assuming charge Mr Tripathy said his main focus will be on the implementation of 5Ts-- Transparency, Technology, Team work, Transformation and Time limit.
Emphasis would be given to complete the projects within time limit, he said
Eradication of unemployment, development of industries and infrastructure in the state will be given priority, Mr Tripathy said.
Meanwhile, Mr Suresh Mohapatra today took over as the new Development Commissioner and Mr Pradipta Kumar Moahapatra as the Agriculture Production Commissioner(APC).
Mr Sanjeev Chopra joined today as the new Home Secretary of Odisha, the post held by Mr.Asit Tripathy.
