Asian Granito registers 187 pc rise in net profit

Ahmedabad, Nov 12 (UNI) Gujarat based Asian Granito India Limited (AGIL) on Tuesday reported a 187 per cent rise in consolidated net profit in the second quarter (Q2) of the current fiscal.

According to the Q2 financial result issued by the company's corporate head office here today, its net profit at Rs 12.7 crore for the quarter ended September 2019 was 187 pc higher as against net profit of Rs 4.44 crore in the corresponding period of previous fiscal.

Net sales for the Q2 FY20 at Rs 356.9 crore were also higher by 26 pc over previous fiscal’s same period net sales of Rs 282.5 crore.
Net Profit Margin for the Q2FY20 stood at 3.6 pc.
