Asian games :  Pranab Bardhan, Shibnath Sarkar win gold in men's Pair Bridge event

Jakarta, Sep 1 (UNI) India's Pranab Bardhan and Shibnath Sarkar have won gold medal in men's pair event of bridge competition at the 18th Asian Games held here on Saturday.

With this gold medal in Bridge men's pair, India have equalled their best gold medal tally at the Asian Games with a 15th Gold. The last time this was happened in 1951, the first edition of the Asian Games.

The duo scored 384 points.

So far, India have 67 medals -- 15 gold, 23 silver and 29 bronze.
