Asian Games: Indian women's hockey gold ends in drought

Jakarta, Aug 31 (UNI) Indian women's hockey dream of winning gold medal after 36 years ended after they lost to Japan in finals of the Asian Games here on Friday.

India lost to Japan 1-2 and had to settle with silver. India had last won gold in 1982 Asian Games.

With this win Japan have directly qualified for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
