ASI killed in road accident in Dumka, 3 others injured

Dumka, Jan 15 (UNI) An Assistant sub-inspector posted in the police line here was killed while three others were seriously injured in a road accident which took place near Bandhpada on the Dumka-Pakur main road of this district.
Police sources today said that the incident took place around midnight last night. The deceased ASI Prakash Ekka alongwith his wife Sonaluyus Soren and an associate Ramesh Ekka were returning from Mahro to Dumka when at Bandhpada, their car hit another car which was coming from the opposite end.
Due to the incident, the ASI was killed on the spot while his wife and fellow associate sustained serious injuries. The driver of the another car Dilip Chitrakar also sustained serious injuries in the incident. Post the incident all the injured have been admitted at Dumka Sadar Hospital.
