Ashok Leyland July 2017 sales rises by 14.19 percent

Mumbai, Aug 1 (UNI) Commercial Vehicle Major, Ashok Leyland today reported a rise of 14.19 percent in total sales at 11,981 units for the month of July 2917 as compared with 10,492 units sold in the same month last year. Sales of medium and heavy commercial vehicles grew by 10.32 per cent to 9,026 units as against 8,182 in the year-ago month, company said in a filing with BSE. Light commercial vehicle sales rose 27.92 per cent to 2,955 units compared to 2,310 in July last year, it added. UNI JS SM1315
