New Delhi, Feb 17 (UNI) Hours after Babulal Marandi merged his Jharkhand Vikas Morcha (Prajatantrik) with BJP in Ranchi, in the presence of Home Minister Amit Shah, two of his MLAs on Monday joined Congress party in the national capital.
JVM MLAs Pradeep Yadav and Bandhu Tirkey have 'merged' JVM(P) with Congress, as they claimed that they have the majority against Mr Marandi, who is the third MLA of the party, in the recently concluded Jharkhand assembly.
"On March 1, JVM's top leaders will join the Congress party at a ceremony. We have requested Rahul Gandhi to address this ceremony, and he has accepted", said RPN Singh, party general secretary in-charge of Jharkhand.
