As many as 63 Urban Local Bodies will go for elections on May 29

Bengaluru, May 28(UNI) Back on the heels of the conclusion of the Lok Sabha elections, as many as 63 Urban local bodies in Karnataka will go for polls tomorrow.
According to State Election Commission sources elaborate arrangements have been made to hold Polling to 63 Ulbs, eight Municipal Councils (CMC;s) 33 Town Municipal Councils (TMCs’s) and 22 Town Panchayats across several districts in the State.
Two vacancies, caused due to the demise of the two sitting members in the Bruhath Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) will also be filled in tomorrow’s elections, the SEC sources said.
The polling will begin in all the polling stations from 7 am in the morning and ends at 5 pm in the evening.
The counting of votes in all the 63 local bodies will be taken up on May 31 and the same day the results would be announced, the SEC sources added.
