Leh, Sep 26 (UNI) Emotional scenes were on Saturday witnessed when 131 youth from different parts of the Union Territory of Ladakh joined Indian Army family after completing strenuous training and participating in the Passing-out-Parade.
It was a joyous moment for the proud youth, who became members of Ladakh Scouts Regiment after participating in the parade at a ceremony which was conducted without the parents of the recruits in view of COVID-19 pandemic.
Defence Ministry spokesperson Colonel Rajesh Kalia told UNI that Attestation Parade was held on Saturday at the Ladakh Scouts Regimental Centre, Leh to mark the entry of the well trained recruits into the Ladakh Scouts Regiment as young soldiers.
