Port Blair, Aug 05 (UNI) The Health Department of Andaman Nicobar Island has initiated a series of steps to contain the spread of COVID-19 virus in Andaman Nicobar Islands.
Yesterday 98 people were tested COVID19 positive in these Islands, out of which 3 are travellers and 95 are contacts.
As per last reports, the total number of COVID19 cases in Andaman is 928, out of which 639 are active and 277 have recovered. Andaman has, however, recorded a total of 12 deaths till yesterday night.
