As Amit Shah kicks off Bengal campaign: 'Is saffron party mad', asks TMC

New Delhi/Malda, Jan 22 (UNI) The BJP on Tuesday stepped up attack against the opposition parties on the Electronic Voting Machines (EVM) issue even as party chief Amit Shah sounded the poll bugle from Mamata Banerjee-ruled West Bengal's Malda tore into the opposition camp for inherent contradictions in forging an alliance strictly against Narendra Modi.
Trinamool Congress reacted strongly wondering whether BJP is desperate or has it 'gone mad'.
"EVMs can’t be hacked. If anybody tries to tamper with them, they simply shut down. They were used for 2 decades under many Cong governments without any complaint," BJP general secretary Ram Madhav tweeted.
